They recently put up a signal light on my local canyon road. It's a two lane road (no cross traffic) and the signal finally turned red. So I wait. And so did the four cars behind me. We wait... and there's no traffic.

Now it's been a while, so I kinda figured it was probably a heads up for the construction workers or something was up with the sensor - I used to bike about town and some sensors didn't pick up vehicles under a certain weight. The car behind me and I proceed with caution at approximately 25-30 mph. We're halfway through the curve when we see the cars going in the opposite direction behind the curve. We stop, and I back up into the conveniently placed turn off. Everybody's pretty cool about it except for that lady who rolled down her window to give me shit.

Well, that wasn't very fun and I won't be doing that again anytime soon...
